Rena Crocker, Executive Director - Rena has worked with kids, youth and families for 20 years.  She received her Master in Theology degree from Fuller Seminary, and has worked in schools, churches and nonprofits in the US and abroad. Rena and her family recently moved to Sacramento after spending 12 years in Berkeley, where she served as an Associate Pastor in a Covenant Church, and directed parent engagement and support programs at a school-based family resource center. Rena is married to Matt Crocker, and they both have two kids, Noah and Naomi.

Deborah Blanco is the Director of Elementary Programs for The GreenHouse.  Deborah grew up in Salinas and moved to Sacramento in 2008 to attend CSU Sacramento. Deborah graduated in May 2011 with a B.A. in Social Work and soon after began working at The GreenHouse as an Americorps Summer Associate and then as our year-long VISTA.  After doing a terrific job with our youth, Deborah was hired back as our Director of Elementary Programs. Deborah enjoys reading, eating, international social work and traveling. Deborah loves to spend time with her large family of nine and is passionate about working with communities that are under-resourced.

Brenda Martinez is our Volunteer and Parent Engagement Coordinator, and our Executive Assistant. Brenda grew up in the apartments and was part of The GreenHouse programs in elementary school.  After moving away, she stayed in touch through our "GreenHouse Grads" young women's group. 

Josiah Gorter is the Director of Teen Academic and Leadership Programs at The GreenHouse. Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan; Josiah moved to Sacramento in 2014 after graduating from Calvin College. He met his wife here at The GreenHouse in 2015 and they moved into the surrounding neighborhood in 2017. Josiah has a heart for learning about new cultures, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with family. He has worked with youth in Grand Rapids, Detroit, and Sacramento over the last ten years and has a heart to see every young person discover their unique gifts and grow towards their full potential.

Janelle Torres is the Coordinator of our "Youth and Family Faith Formation" Programs (YF3) - Janelle grew up in the Northgate neighborhood and is now a Sophomore at Sac State majoring in English.  She attends Vida Church in Del Paso Heights and brings a passionate love for God, natural preaching abilities, and deep commitment to teens and families in this community.   Janelle coordinates our weekly "Oasis" faith formation program for Jr High and Sr High teens.
